Designed for difficult conjuncts
The conversion engine uses longest-match processing and Kannada cluster rules in both directions. Conjuncts, repha, ottakṣara, split vowel signs, and sequences such as ಗಣಪತಯೇ are handled as units rather than one character at a time.
Legacy fonts differ. Unicode to ASCII uses the canonical legacy form from this converter’s existing character table. If the status line identifies unmapped characters, compare the source font and the original document before publishing the result.

ಈ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶದ ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯಗಳು
- ಮೂಲ ಲಿಪಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು 'nativize=false' ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಬಳಕೆದಾರರು "Transliterate Unicode" ಎಂದು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂತರವಷ್ಟೇ ಲಿಪ್ಯಂತರ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
- ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ನಕಲಿಸುವ (Copy) ಬಟನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಗೋಪ್ಯತಾ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
- ದೇವನಾಗರಿ ಲಿಪಿಯ 'ಅವಗ್ರಹ' (ऽ) ಚಿಹ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡದ 'ಅವಗ್ರಹ' (ಽ) ಚಿಹ್ನೆಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅನುರೂಪಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಗ್ರಂಥ (Grantha) ಲಿಪಿಯ ಫಾಂಟ್ ಬ್ರೌಸರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
- ಹಳೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಆಸ್ಕಿ (ASCII) ನಮೂದನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು "ನುಡಿ ಅಕ್ಷರ-೦೧" (Nudi Akshar-01) ಅನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
- ಯೂನಿಕೋಡ್ನಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಕಿಗೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿತವಾದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವೂ "ನುಡಿ-೦೧" ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿತಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ (ಬಳಕೆದಾರರು ತಾವು ನಮೂದಿಸಿದ ಪಠ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲು ಇದು ಸಹಕಾರಿ).

- ಫಾಂಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
- ಹಳೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವು ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸದೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಲಿಪಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬರುವುದನ್ನು ದೃಶ್ಯರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಫಾಂಟ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಎರಡೂ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಪರಿವರ್ತನಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ತಪಾಸಣೆಗಳು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.
- ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತವಾಗಿ ಪುನಃ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ (retries automatically).
- ಅಗತ್ಯಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಧಿಕೃತ POST API ಅನ್ನು ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
- ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸದ ವಿನಂತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ೧೨ ಸೆಕೆಂಡುಗಳ ಕಾಲಾವಧಿಯ ಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು (timeout) ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಬಾಹ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವೈಫಲ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಯೂನಿಕೋಡ್ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
- ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ವಿಫಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾದ 'ಪುನಃ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿ' ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Welcome to the digital font conversion tool created by Dr. R.S. Nandakumar and Sri Tejas Badala with the supportive tech team of Brahmavidya. This tool is primarily for near-perfect font conversion from ASCII to Unicode and vice versa. In our testing, the conversion is 100% accurate. This tool also incorporates Aksharamukha transliteration into English IAST, with diacritic marks for Saṃskṛta and Indological terminology, as well as Grantha, Telugu, Tamil, Devanagari, and Bangāḷa.
